Sometimes it's so hard to unwind.
Lay back and my mind plays rewind.
Replaying time and again when I tried.

A lump sits in chest, tears swell as I try to process.
Rise above it all, forward thinking, progress.

So lost in emotion can't seem to shake the notion
To give up so easy and not be heartbroken

Why should I fight for someone who just let me go?
The heart wants what it wants but my head begs no.

So lost in emotion
A big empty sea, alone floating
Or sinking, all this thinking has got me twisted.
I thought you'd miss this.
