The bitterness of it all still lingers,
In every single person that knew you.

I think of you, every now and then.

Everyone needs your smile back,
Because it was the only thing bright
In that school of ours.
Now you've gone into a paradise of

Summer, something will always

Be missing. You're probably in a better,
Peaceful place, I like to think.
I hope you are. I hope you're getting

Everything you ever wanted, and I

Hope and pray that one day,

Just one day, we'll meet again and

We'll fly away.

I love you, wherever you are Caitlin,

It doesn't matter, as long as you're safe.
You'll forever be in our hearts.
This poem is very personal. As are all my poems, but especially this one. I found, after Caitlins death, some sort of comfort in writing my feelings into poems that don't have to make sense as such, you just have to have the patience to really look into them.
I'm so sorry that Caitlin is gone.
