Jul 2014
As dust and debris ascends on the earth
And people in panic flee
As the bird of steel in flight collided
Our hearts in sorrow cried
Memories of a nightmare
In our wildest dreams unseen
Will stay with this whole nation
Embedded in their dreams
Across the seas and plains
Far and distant countries mourn
The death of those who once so proud
The streets of New York roamed
From the east to west
From the north to the south
A prayer is said to all
In God we trust
For He is just
This evil will come to a fall
