If hope was what it was
I blame myself
Not the one from the start
Just like illusions on a dessert
Mirage

You saved her
Her soul was broken and she was breaking
Breaking on her own
But you took it away

Mirage
I watch my dreams of us
I wash away the heat
The heat that blinded me with these illusions
But i clasp my hands gently
And prayed for the best
Best for the both

As the prayer continues
The cuts through my beating *****
Becomes deeper
