Look at me

I’m looking at you but you’re not looking back Your eyes are on me but they’re not seeing me Their looking past me and around me I want them on me, only on me You smile, you laugh, you talk to me But your eyes are never on me Always looking through me I wonder what it is you see sometimes Wonder if you’re seeing someone else Seeing what you wish I was I wish you could see me Really see me Because if you just looked at me I know I would be everything you want me to be Please, look at me
