What Shall I Say?

What shall I say?

That I am a creature of Faith, Love, and Forgiveness?

It is not so…

 

What shall I say?

That I have done you no wrong,

that I am infallible in a fragmented world?

It is, verily, not so…

 

What shall I say?

Shall I say that all we have, all we have made,

counts for naught when faced with Trials?

No, this is not so…

 

What, then, shall I say?

 

I shall say that I am somewhere in between,

walking amongst the Beauty and the Curse.

For I am, irrevocably, an element of both…
