I dare not to dream
Study! Study! Study! cried the mother
your father is working very hard
we have our hopes on you
don't break, we've come so far
The society won't recognize you
with your 60 70 or 80
you'll be left behind
there is no second place in this life
"Dream Big", two words sold by all
seldom are we allowed, these words to buy
not anymore, came out the rebel
we all held inside
Become a doctor or an engineer
get the best white collar job
but I wish you say to me
"son be whatever you want"
Was it my fault to be born as a lion
but made to believe I was a sheep?
the rebel was battered and bruised
brought down by his own from dreaming
All I did was to dream
dream beyond the ordinary
now everything is in vain it seems
what the society taught me is
I dare not to dream!
