My life was nothing but a tornado.
Taking innocent people and destroying lives.
Spitting out thunder and Striking like lightning.
Can I be tamed?
Will I stop?
Can this storm in me leave?
I thought no.
I am ****** and so are the people around me.
...
You came along.
When I took an innocent life,
You healed them and punished me.
When I destroyed belongings,
You fixed it and scolded me.
When I spat out thunder,
It bounced off and you smiled.
When I would strike,
You stopped me and stared. Right in my eyes.
When I cried horrible rains,
You were hugging me, smiling at me, kissing me.
You stopped my storm.
You stopped the wind.
You took the ugliness away,
You took the disaster away,
You took my breath away.
I hope I take yours.
I have a sun and blue skies.
I have you.
And you made me new.
Mine. Thank you.
