Overlooking the shower entirely

I saw my reflection, barely dressed

Evidence of you all over my body

With you on my mind

I woke up long before dawn

Welcoming a familiar soreness

I untied my hair--

And surrounding me, in suspension

All I could smell

All I could breathe in

Was you
