I've always been there,
I've always cared.
I've given up sleep,
Foregone birthday joy,
Listened until my ears gave out.
So tell me,
Where are you now?

You're tired?
So am I, but I'll stay awake for you.
You need something?
Ok, let me drop whatever I'm doing.
I need something?
***** for me...

I'm not your counselor,
Of course I care,
But I can't always be there.
I have my own issues.
My life is crumbling you see,
Oh wait, you don't,
You don't even see me...
