its a bright day sparked your smile
your eyes give life to all
suddenly life flourishes
and its the most beautiful day ever

the sun shines bright
butterflies gracefully flap their wings
and birds smoothly glide in the air
it is truly beautiful

you touch awakens yet I feel like am dreaming
but you kiss me and tell me you love me
then for a minute I am convinced
could this be really happening

suddenly it feels empty
the butterflies die in the air
the bodies of birds come raining down
the sun darkens

the grass is worse than dry
It looks burnt
the air once filled with joy and life
is now full of pain and sorrow

what has happened to my world?
it all happened so fast that I still don't understand
what happened to us?
now I carry the darkness in me as I roam the world
