I was always scared of butterflies.
Their fragile wings always annoyed me.
Their ugly tiny eyes reminded me of how ugly and tiny our souls were.
But they could fly.
How was it that something I hated, was able to do something I desire?

I was always scared of butterflies and
their temptation of making myself something I hate
just to be able to do
                    something I desire.
