I've made the promise to live before,
though I haven't always kept it true,
I'll probably break it a few times more.
Still, I will breathe and take,
every sunset for you like no other.
For you're my brother,
to whom no words I can say,
though nothing,
will stop my love for you any day.

Tonight my eyes are red from weeping,
seems two world wars,
are sweeping my mind simultaneously.
Doors seem to close right as they open,
the other side I'm always hoping I might see.
But as of now I've no one in which to confide,
guess I'm still seeking what I hide away,
though nothing,
will stop my love for you any day.

Feels I've lost you a thousand times now,
I don't know how it conceals under my skin,
but as soon as I begin to think I plunder.
Just so hard to grasp that I'll never see you again,
there's not a single time I would ever discard of you and me.
The last years seem a crime with you not in my gravity,
and while the past has tears, your joy will find its way,
though nothing,
will stop my love for you any day.
