Hear my little baby cry
In the darkest all nigh’
Twisting in the swaddle
With light shining over

Listening to silent winds
Breaking all of it’s vows
Her mind tosses in kind
Turning all inside out

Where’s the peace of rivers
That flows to heal and hold
Locking chains just rambles
Dimming warmth to raise cold

Hiding her heart seems true
With all that’s said and done
Perhaps one day this fool
Will see the morning sun
