Searching in the Dark
Somewhere in the darkness reaching,
searching, hoping, groping, seeking
Try to find a way into the light.
Questions form upon my lips
but no one answers, no tongue slips
a word of hope of praise of love of fear.
I find the light and all around me
people wander, groping blindly
for the light or just another soul.
