The Moon and the Stars
Co-existing not living
Both beautiful in their entirety
But neither could see it

So the Moon Envied the Stars
And the Stars the Moon
The Moon was pale and bright
And shone over everything,

Her reflection was the mere definition of beauty
And the stars knew it
But what the stars didn’t know
Is that their beauty was far greater than the Moon’s

For when people looked up at the sky
They weren’t admiring the Moon,
They were marveling at the Stars

You see
Two beautiful things got lost in each others beauty
So much so that they couldn’t see their own
Be careful who you find beautiful, because you already are :)
