Touch me, it doesn't matter where,
It doesn't matter how.

I need to know I’m still alive,
So someone touch me now.

Shake my hand and say hello,
Pat my back or kiss my cheek.

Slap my face or pull my hair,
Make me bleed I just don’t care.

Dig your nails into my skin,
So I might feed this need within.

I've been numb for such a time,
That even pain would be sublime.
So someone touch me, please touch me now.

My life is not about finding someone who won’t fight with me,
Or make me sad or mad or glad.

My life is about finding that someone who will wipe my tears away.
That someone who will never leave me of forsake me,

No matter how hard my life may be,
For my sake He will be there for me.

When I’m with Him I feel a sense of safety
for He will defend me no matter what may come.

When I’m with Him I am happy that I know Him,
for I would know where I would be if I didn't know Him.

So Jesus touch me,
Please Jesus touch me now.
