When I gaze inside your beautiful eyes
Its Pain and despair I see behind
Now im feeling scared to propose a kiss
Like im forcing myself upon a strangers lips

Hard to beleive a love so strong
Becomes weaathered and dim
Against a killer so silent, invisible, and grim
Because time doesn't stop,
for your mistakes, stupidity or blindness

Lifes a race against the clock
And should be treated with such respect
Father time has no ears, No voice and he's blind
But you can sure feel it, when he pass' you by

Everyone is punished, with the same prosecution
To manage, control, and appreciate
Are times little lesson's
For diamond or Rock
Human or Not
Time has no mercy, and can never be stopped

Ticking away from the day of your birth
Like a race that you start, but never signed up
Without directions to follow, and the finish is unknown
No guarantee for how long
And the prize is the knowledge

Random selection, through the places you've been
and the choices you've made
Earning you a spot on the podium, of dust in the wind
