In the morning I look out
through the trees in my yard that gently sway,
reacting to the soothing blows,
past the homes and up into the fray.
Soon I'll be out there, sitting
amongst the clouds, observing my domain,
calmly witnessing as time stops
and wanes importance as I remain.
