Too Soon
Here is the story
of the shrinking bay,
of the tide that came in,
and took it all away.
There stood the girl
without a gram of gray,
before the tide came in,
and took it all away.
and she dropped to her knees
and she was not okay
and the tide came in
and took her away.
Everywhere and nowhere,
the price she had to pay,
to the tide that came in,
and took her life away.
And she never knew
that there is always another day,
that the tide that came in,
eventually went away.
