May 2014
Peace in the air
Fluent and so bare
Beauty only skin deep
Through her eyes and her hair
Cold wind a blowing
Moves my body still
A shiver down my spine will
Push me up this hill
Summertime's upon us
The days are getting long
Fit all the hours in the day
Oh, how I long for more
My love is fading
Across the drying winter pine
The smell of the ocean breeze
Sets a calm in my mind
Darling I hope your well
Your always in my mind
Goodbyes are the hardest thing
That we've ever done
But where we all are going
There's a place beyond the sun.
