May 2014
The struggles we've known are not our own
They are laid upon us by the ones we've out grown
Petrified to move on
Too scared of the end
We watch the world pass by
With nothing to be said.
How long do we wait for something better to come along
And when do we change our fate from the things went wrong
Discover what you're made of seconds from the fall
Fight to survive this night
Survive to sing this song

Carry on with your breath
It's feels good to be alive
To show the world what we've built
Of how we turned the tides
Rebuild the bridges that we once have burned
Let the rivers flow beneath them
It's time we took our turn

Trust in something bigger than yourself
For once in a while
Have faith in the faithless
Believe in what is real

Cast away the ending
Just begin to write your own
Make a name for the ones
That you left at home
Say goodbye to the past
And hello to you
Listen to the winds of change
That will guide you through it all.
