Here's my good friend nobody
he's been around for quite a while
I've never seen him sad
but then I've never seen him smile

But whenever things are ******
and I'm feeling pretty low
he's the only one that shows up
it's like he always seems to know

Likewise when things are going good
he's the only one that's there
the only one that sees the best of me
the only one that seems to care

So I planned a surprise party
in his honour, in his name.
And I sat there in the darkness
but nobody never came.
