Cradling Bones
The dead
risen and reborn
given a body
bloodied and worn
howls sheltered
thunder gathers on the coast
hunters blend among the fallen
cradling a quarrel of broken bones
double-barrels whisper
powdered regrets and heat
falling on the deaf ears
who lost their souls in the unknown
Do not steal...such and such
