Tomorrow Remade

Red rain drifts through lazy winds

Whipping across smooth faces:

Pink with cold kisses.

Lingering warmth of parted heat

Laughter echoes off surrounding world

Smiles joyfully bright

Feelings drip like delicate lace

Tangible, vulnerable nonetheless

Carefully chosen words

Memories cast aside avoiding reality

Momentary hearts sweep icy skies

Tomorrow remade
