My Little Piece From Heaven
The sun shined bright, we were both young and wreckless
We took advantage of the sun and made imaginary fortesses
Our hearts collided as one and nothing ever defeated us
We both grew together, we shared our dreams, secrets, and wishes
Not a word left unspoken, we had each other everyday, until the evening
Remember? Back when I was only eight and you were only seven
You don't know how much I thank God for giving me a little piece from heaven
Although we had a different world, although we weren't really even
You made me feel like i actually had my life guided and well driven
As i sit beside you now, i recall all of our silly laughters
I knew i wasn't stable, but it's like you sewed me all together
I always thought we'd have our own little "happily every after"
Now im all alone, left so incomplete, to rot, and shatter
I will never ever forget you, though you've left me behind
I know it wasn't your fault, but sometimes, fate can be so unkind
Gone are all the colors that were once vivid in my mind
All that's left to do is to sit and reminisce, memories all combined
I'm sorry i never had the chance to tell you the truth
I wish i could re-live our memories, i wish i could re-live our youth
When you died of cancer, i wish i was right beside you
Now, as i sit beside your tombstone, i knew it's just too good to be true
You're happy up in heaven, but i hope you're listening too
I will always and forever, miss
you
