May 2014
I lost my phone just this afternoon
Something not so valuable, they say
In number, perhaps, yes
But for me, that thing is important
Especially now that it is gone
The memories, happy or sad
Goes with that tool
It was there for me
When I was on my lowest
It was there for me
When no one else would
That thing helped me in many ways
My companion,
My assistant,
My listener,
and trusted secret keeper.
How I wish I have given it so much appreciation
Because now that is gone,
Life will be different.
I'll be starting again with something new
But what we have gone together will always be special.
