I still sit here, it has only been an hour
The very earth itself heavy after the slightest shower
Your words ****** out of me all the love and power
This silent garden shows to me only a dead flower.
Wilted away my worries and sorrows
In hopes for a brighter tomorrow
So until the quiet comes and washes me away
I'll count the minutes until the light of day.
The moon sings to me the sweetest lullaby
About fairy tale endings and a sky full of lighters
Meanwhile, you leave without a goodbye
Making my world a shade less brighter.
An eclipse to my love to block out my heart
Ignite my fire, the arson in my veins
Compassion so smokey where does is end or where does it start
Dormant the flames until we meet again
