Raspberries

I put on my extra layer of skin to ward off distractions and annoyances. I want to be completely alone. Look for the familiar flash of red. Know that I've found what I seek. Yet another thorn punctures my skin. Won't even register the pain. Nothing can divert my attention from the task at hand. At the end, so much red. All collected in one little area.
