Dear God,
Be very careful what you take from me. I know this is some sort of lovely stress test. I know this is pushing my limits on purpose. But do you remember last time? Don't you forget that if you take too much from me, you will create somebody who could burn you to the ground. Don't you forget that if I have nothing to lose, I will be utterly free. Don't give me that. Don't take so much from me that you give me my freedom. You know it wouldn't go well. Be very careful how much you kick me when I'm down, or I may just decide that getting back what I've lost isn't worth more than just torching this whole ridiculous life. And we both know, god, that if I were to spread my pain like flames, I'd take a whole hell of a lot with me.
Faithfully your plaything,
Mikaila
