Master

I love my master.
Master saved me from a bad place where others were loud and mean.
When Master saw me, I laughed and smiled and his face began to gleam.
Master took me home that day and the bad place was now gone.

Later master taught what was right and wrong.
Master showed me a game you could play with a ball.
He would throw, I would chase, and bring it back to him.
He told me I was a good boy and I would sit and be still,
Master gave me a bed and food and drink too.
For my master there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do.
I love my master.

Years went by and master and I got older.
One day master came home with a brand new friend.
She was tall and nice and smelled really good.
She liked me right away.
Master told me, Rocky this is Jill.
Jill came to the house more and more each day.
But the more she came, the more Master pushed me away.
Master would still play with me when Jill wasn’t around.
But when she came he forgot about me and called me a mangy hound,
But even still despite this fact I love my master still.

Jill lives with us all the time now and Master plays with me a little more.
Only Jill doesn’t like when I bring dirt in on the floor.
Master and I play in the street now so Jill will be happy.
But one day when we were playing, a ******* thing hit me and knocked me down.
A new big thing came to get me and it had a loud and long howl.
Master held me and cried and cried even though I felt fine.
All of a sudden we we were outside and went to a new place where others cried and cried.
A nice man told master something and he got very sad.
I tried to tell master that it wasn’t so bad.
Then the man poked me with a sharp thing in the side.
I felt like I was floating and master cried and cried.
I licked his face to make him feel much better.
He said goodbye as did I, and I still love my Master.
