Poems

Golden
Lost forever in my jumbled logic
Actions can say as little as nothing
The tone she uses
Her choice of words
Convince me my actions aren’t hopeless
I know it’s bad
But habits are hard to break
I overheard some conversations
Now I’m not so sure,
Am I that close to my dream
Or is the golden hope
Farther than it may seem?
