You held me like a handgrenade

Afraid that when you have to finally let go

AllΒ Β that we have built would turn to dust

But darling I will take the rains

I will clench myself tight

Letting every crease in my quivering hand be a memory

The rise in me knuckle become the mountains that we have scaled together

The dry skin falls like the bottles of wine that fill the river of our love

I will leave you with the castles we have build so you will have shelter

And I will find bliss every time I feel the tension on my fingers
