I fell for your hands,
but they didn't know me
and you never really did.
We weren't ever friends
and man, I swear that that's okay
cause I only wanted to touch you
To feel the warm skin
that covered those insecure bones
To force shivers up your spine
To help you understand
that every inch of you was important
and that my fingers wouldn't overlook a spot
but you questioned my shifty hands
matching them with shifty eyes
So now you won't find me makin' room
on your ******* mattress in the morning
Or drawing solar systems
on the back of your neck
with my shaky finger tips
