Reflection Time
I looked in the mirror in the bathroom
Just after getting out of bed
I saw my father looking back at me
And this is what he said,
"You are me as I am you
And together we are one
There is nothing that divides us
I am sure of that my son."
Time has passed by so quickly
Since we last spoke for real
Life just seems like a fading dream,
At least that's how I feel.
Yes the ticking clock counting down,
Each heartbeat is the measure,
Of how much time there is left
Of this life for me to treasure.
