There once was a man

He was quite the fool

He loved only when loved

Never thought to deceive

only himself

was he disguised as a liar

Almost ruined a good life

the perfect bride

the chosen wife

His hands filthy

can never get cleansed

For this his heart is broken

only she can heal his wounds

The trust is lost

shes no fool

He will fight

He must

to win back her devotion

To give her what she has given him

a chance to be loved
