Another lonely sleepless night
Another emotional fight
Thoughts tear my head apart
Sorrow strangles my heart

Sleep evades my every advance
As if I ever had a chance
Cursed this wretched life I bare
Alone I suffer without care

Hatred builds inside my soul
Lashing out against you all
Where empathy dies, greed resumes
Merciless hunger does consume

Writing be my only defense
So begins another resistance
For in these words bare my soul's
Battles know one ever knows
