When my eyes close I can see.

Only then do I swim in a calm sea.

It's not as if I can jump the bridge,
not as if my time is a clock on  the wall,
I have my moment, worth everything and all.

         Nobody should discourage my ride,
yet I wear wounds from mighty fights,
and I cant help but grasp my chest,
when all the nights I cried were the best.

So give me an allusion to your smile,
let me be a memory, so I stick around,
and my feet arent just temporary,
give me just a while.
