Yesterday a soldier died

Died doing his country proud

Doing his best he tried

Now buried in a rainbows' shroud

Gave his country satisfaction

In the sky is not a cloud

He was killed in action

Now buried in a rainbows' shroud

But why did he have to die for

In a war that should not be allowed

Too many men are killed in a war

And buried in a rainbows' shroud
