Shadows of the Night

Moonlit shadows dance upon the water's edge Searching for a place to call home. They've lost their way Slowly moving here and there, Living in a state of unrest. Born each night, only to be devoured by the morning sun. They accept this fate For they are shadows of the night. Moving helplessly across the water Never reaching where they need to be. They cannot escape the moon's might grasp. So here they remain, Shadows of the Night.
