The State of Manhood

Where did all the heroes go?

Mothers, Sisters losing faith in

Lovers undercover of ego--

*in a club bought some bud

drop the cash five more stacks

see the girl

                      talk the pearl

show the bling

                              reign her in

talk the trash

                           false and rash--

and if a Man dare arise--

when he takes the lead will they

                                                                                     crucify or heed,

                                           his rationally wise

                                                                              and

                                                                                  soft spoken creed?*

What do heroes really know?
