I remember you mother when I was a child.  You would hold my hand and share your wonderful smile.
You would walk with me, to experience the fresh air.  You were the mother, to show me that you care.
I remember you mother, tucking me in the bed at night.  Oh, how I missed you, after turning out the light.
You were up, at the crack of day, making sure I had a place to sit at the table, before bowing my head to pray.
I remember you being the best mother, in the whole wide world.  You also had compassion, for other boys and girls.
