My claim to fame was a book or two
A film, some scripts and a couple million by the age of 32
The wife I loved, loved since school
Stayed and loved me back, even when I was a fool
And that I was, many a time
For it was me that waited so long to find her
'Never will I forget that day
One that shall live in infamy
A cold November morning
One at the end of Fall
Because born on that morn, was a love that knew no end at all
The Rose to my Tinted Glasses
