"Love"

Oh innocence, what bliss you are. I wish you could've stayed, but it must have been too much to ask. We're told we are too young, to fall in love or know what we want. I disregarded it all and met you. As we talked and spent time together, It wasn't too long before you had my heart. I know I don't have much to give; But I gave what I could. I tried so hard to make you happy. You finally said you loved me; I felt the same as I told you. I only wish I could detect lies better. Maybe then I would have been saved, From your "love"
