Cradle Me Softly

In the silence of the night

I hear your heart call to me

Over the miles it echoes

Drawing me closer

Waking my soul sweetly

To the touch of your love

Traces of moonbeams

Dazzle as I listen hard

To the future

Forgetting this void

That stands between us

Empty and endless

Craving your embrace

I stand on this threshold

One single step and I fall

Into your arms again

Rapture takes me

As I feel your souls core

Wrapped in uncertainty

Caressed by pure hope

Bring me home to you

Overwhelm me so easily

In depths of your river

Cradle me softly tonight
