breath with me if you can
I hear screaming from under the ground
we sit under the tree and there's no light on our skin
and you said it's worth the waiting just for this pain

I see the light traversing thru the surface
and the story rumbles into a certain phase
we agreed home to us is just some imaginary place
and you said let's play this game with pride and grace

you said **** the world, we are better than this
you said here we go, let them run over us
you said put the gun down, it will only make it worse
you said relax your arms, let it take your breath

so dance with me if you can
let the running liquid clear our vein
we can hold our hands and everything will become red
then someone will yell "you are so dead!"

*Oh, it's Sam!
