Apr 2014
a fiery sunset in all its splendor.
red, orange, yellow, and gold.
dark silhouette of trees afar off.
unfolding and orchestrating,
each with a unique story to tell.
a golden door opens.
swirls and shoots of colour release.
crimson droplets paint the sky.
everything stops as it blooms.
ribbons and pools of light
blanket the waters.
across the golden path you walk.
into the beacon you look.
sparkles carrying you along the way.
radiant hues reach out,
touching your fingertips.
it calls an end to the day,
and the beginning of dreams.
I never tire of watching sunsets unfold.
