Come with me, while I'm light upon my feet
The grass is green, the air is sweet
As we navigate through fields and around the plain
I pray you won't forget my name

As we grow up and up from our childhood guile
I hope you will look upon me and smile
Because I still will remember you the same
So, please, remember my name

And in those cold, dark lonely nights
I had always wished to hold you tight
To shield you from what comes again
Always, please, remember my name

I've loved you, love you, always will
And if you can remember still
How we used to tirelessly play the game
How could you, dear, forget my name?
