Captive

Confined inside my comfort zone,

This wall I've built and call my own,

It seems so serene -- my own universe,

But I'm trapped inside my own ******* curse.

It's not that I don't want to destruct them,

I just lack the courage -- I'm sorry for the obstruction.

So badly I want to let you in,

So badly I want to let you win,

I wish that I could allow you to defeat them,

But I can't even begin to beat them.

Please don't find it personal -- someday I promise to fall,

But now I'm stuck here waiting for this ******* wall.
