You've heard this spiel, once or twice,
or too many times before
but now hold on! Don't reach for that door!
I've got to tell you, a small little story,
okay maybe a poem, but don't you worry.
There's a man out there, that doesn't mind to be poor,
Somewhere a woman out there, huddles cold and hungry on the floor,
but somewhere they know, that there's a happier place,
somewhere they know, they'll have a happier face.
Somewhere a child, knows that they'll be food in abundance you see,
somewhere they know that they're life is full of flavor, not just redundancy.
okay, maybe that was rather low-key...er whatever that means
So think of this,
pay attention or else you just might miss
the important thing
that you can't buy.
Happiness.
no it wasn't an excuse to make you say Ha-*****.
Love.
Friendship.
The little things in life that you can't buy.
Help someone,
but why stop there?
There's people to save, so start today my friend,
because everyone needs someone, in the end.
You can't buy friendship,
it doesn't come in a bottle,
You can't buy love,
it must be complete and full, ups and downs, not gently and coddled.
You can't buy happiness.
Because. Those aren't the memories you want to last,
it's a moment that you know, you don't want to let go too fast.
Oh yeah. That moment.
May you have many of those,
I hope that you'll never let them go, and keep them close.
May your memories of them be ever fond,
of the people you've helped to smile, the friendships, the bond.
I don't know how to explain why you just can't buy them.
So find out yourself, shouldn't be a problem.
